UNC Health Pardee Updates Visitor Restrictions and Masking Guidance

As hospital admissions related to respiratory illnesses continue to decline, UNC Health Pardee is lifting the temporary age-based visitor restrictions effective today, Monday, February 16. However, due to the ongoing circulation of measles in the region and the safety of teammates, patients, and the community, masking remains required in the Pardee Hospital Emergency Department and Pardee Urgent Care locations.

Although respiratory virus activity is decreasing, individuals who are sick should not visit patients. Additionally, patients and visitors are encouraged to delay non-urgent visits if experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness and to follow guidance from care teams while on site.
