UNC Health Pardee is pleased to welcome three new providers to Pardee BlueMD, expanding access to health care services across Western North Carolina. John Rice, MD; Wade Davis, MD; and Kelly Garcia, MD, each bring a patient-centered approach and a commitment to high-quality, accessible care.
Dr. John Rice is a board-certified psychiatrist providing care at Pardee BlueMD - 277 N. Broad St. in Brevard. He specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis, and substance use disorders. Dr. Rice’s approach to care emphasizes collaborative, practical problem-solving and behavioral strategies that support stability and recovery. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at Dartmouth Geisel School of Medicine.
