Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. In fact, more skin cancers are diagnosed in the US each year than all other cancers combined.
The good news is that you can do a lot to protect yourself and your family, as well as to catch skin cancer early so that it can be treated effectively.
Consider getting screened if you:
- Were previously diagnosed with skin cancer
- Have a strong family history of skin cancer
- Have a history of excessive sun exposure or indoor tanning
- Have fair skin
- Have many or atypical moles
Pardee UNC Health Care invites you to attend a free skin cancer screening with Drs. Benjamin Doolittle and Kyle Judkins on Thursday, May 27 from 5:30 – 7 pm.
Drs. Benjamin Doolittle and Kyle Judkins will perform the screenings at Pardee Family and Sports Medicine in Mills River.
The screening is open to the public, but an appointment is required. Please call 828-698-7317 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
