Do you sell over-the-counter medications?
Pardee Rx offers a wide variety of over-the-counter (OTC) products such as vitamins, cough and cold medications, testing supplies, and first aid needs.
Do you accept all prescriptions?
We accept all prescriptions that do not require dispensing from a specialty pharmacy, however, prior authorization may be required by your insurance for some medications. Medications prescribed by your Pardee BlueMD provider that requires a prior authorization can be handled more quickly because of our connectivity to that care team.
What is the cost difference of Pardee Rx versus other retail pharmacies?
Our medications cost about the same as other local pharmacies based on your insurance.

What insurance do you accept?
We contract with most health insurance carriers.
How do I transfer my prescription from another retail pharmacy?
To transfer a script from your current retail pharmacy, please call the Pardee Rx pharmacy to provide the names of medications and the pharmacy’s name and contact number.
Are pharmacists available if I have questions?
Our pharmacists are happy to discuss your medications and any concerns with you in person or over the phone.
Do you offer compounded medications?
Pardee Rx does not offer compounded medications.
Can you provide information in other languages?
Interpreter services are available through UNC Health Pardee. Pardee Rx can offer Spanish translation on your prescription bottles.
If my prescription is out of refills, can you contact my provider?
If your prescribed medication is out of refills, we will reach out to your provider’s office for a prescription. If the need is urgent, we recommend that you also reach out to your provider.
What if my prescription changes?
Please call the pharmacy to let us know to help us confirm that we have the most current information on file.
Do you deliver prescriptions?
No, Pardee Rx does not currently deliver.
