Why did you choose to work in health care?

Once I started working at Pardee, I stayed because I like the interactions with patients and the feeling of accomplishment when I clean a patient's room. Their face changes once they are in a clean environment and that makes me feel good. Most of all, I like the relationship with my work team.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

I spend a great part of my day in patient care units, talking with patients and team members, and working together with the nursing team makes us all greater by providing better care to our patients. When I come into a room, I ensure the service we provided has met the patients’ and visitors' expectations. I listen and provide assistance, to the best of my ability.

What do you enjoy most about working at Pardee?

Being able to change someone’s day by coming into their room, offering a smile, and showing patients that I care about their health and recuperation. Seeing them going home better than how they came in is a great satisfaction.

What is an interesting fact about yourself?

When I started working at Pardee I had a baby daughter. Now my daughter is grown and also working at Pardee! She enjoys the interaction with patients as much as I do.
