Why did you choose to work in health care?

Growing up, healthcare was always of interest to me because the body is a fascinating thing. My choice of "what I want to be when I grow up" regularly changed, but it was always healthcare…nursing, dental hygienist, physical therapist, athletic trainer, etc. It wasn't until college that I thought about working in healthcare outside of a clinical role.

What does a typical workday look like for you?

Every day is a new adventure, which I love. I enjoy the variety of what my days holds – from the thrill of connecting with a new candidate, to the anticipation of meeting them for the first time on their visit to our campus, to the excitement of a provider agreeing to become a part of our healthcare family. I love having new candidates come in for a visit and getting to connect them with our current providers.

What do you enjoy most about working at Pardee?

I enjoy helping connect new providers to our organization and community and helping them find a new professional home at Pardee. I am proud to work with a great medical staff and am passionate about connecting skilled providers to Pardee. Having quality care close to home is important to me since my friends and family live, work and play here. I find it rewarding helping our community be a healthy and happy place.

What is a surprising fact about yourself?

I like my Starbursts warm so you can mush two colors together for a multi-flavor burst.
