NLRN Program

UNC Health Pardee offers a 12-week comprehensive Newly Licensed Registered Nurses (NLRN) orientation as part of a year-long NLRN program. The NLRN program provides a variety of dynamic challenges, the opportunity to work with highly qualified nursing preceptors, peer support, and educational opportunities.

How to Apply

Applications are accepted twice a year (February/March for May graduates and October/November for December graduates).

The number of NLRNs hired and the areas of placement change depending on unit dynamics. When the NLRN application cycle is open, there will be one position posted for NLRNs to apply.
