Outpatient Nursing
Ambulatory care, or outpatient nursing opportunities abound at UNC Health Pardee through our varied healthcare facilities. One of the greatest aspects of nursing as a profession is the ability to work in many types of environments and in many different roles, and Pardee’s many locations offer opportunities in practices like Primary Care, Urgent Care, Sports Medicine, OB/GYN and many more. For every individual temperament and personality exists a nursing specialty at Pardee.
As an outpatient nurse at Pardee you’ll have more predictable and stable hours, and can work directly with patients or indirectly by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team or others involved in healthcare to help patients.
It is not uncommon for our nursing staff to build strong relationships and rapport with their patients as well as their co-workers, exemplifying the strong work culture at Pardee. Our nurses also benefit from a variety of educational opportunities including training on the use of electronic health record systems at the forefront of medical records technology.
