Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. In fact, more skin cancers are diagnosed in the U.S. each year than all other cancers combined. The good news is that you can do a lot to protect yourself and your family, as well as to catch skin cancer early so that it can be treated effectively.
Consider getting screened if you:
• Were previously diagnosed with skin cancer
• Have a strong family history of skin cancer
• Have a history of excessive sun exposure or indoor tanning
• Have fair skin
• Have many or atypical moles
UNC Health Pardee invites you to attend a free skin cancer screening with Drs. John Hill and Srinath Sundararaman on Wednesday, May 31 from 5:30 – 7:30pm.
Drs. John Hill and Srinath Sundararaman will perform the screenings at the Pardee Cancer Center, 805 6th Avenue West, #100, Hendersonville, NC 28739.
The screening is open to the public, but an appointment is required. Please call 828-698-7317 for more information or to schedule an appointment.
