Emergency Medicine Experienced Physician Assistant

Pardee Emergency Physicians has an available FT practice opportunity for an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA-C). Fast-paced, efficient interdisciplinary team with the common goal of providing caring, compassionate, and excellent patient care. Our 12 provider team serves more than 32,000 patients per year in our 32-bed, level two Stroke Capable Emergency Department. Air and ground ambulance transfers to tertiary medical center in Asheville, NC for NICU, invasive cardiac and neurosurgery.
Competitive salary with annual bonus based upon attaining quality measures, CME/Dues allowance, paid professional liability insurance, comprehensive medical plan (at a reduced monthly premium), and matching retirement plan (potential match of up to 6% of base salary).
Epic EMR experience preferred. A minimum of two years previous Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant experience required.

Family Medicine Physician

Occupational/Team Member Health Nurse Practitioner

The Occupational/Team Member Health Nurse Practitioner will function as a clinical expert and work collaboratively with the physician medical staff. This newly created position will see employees for episodic illnesses. Duties will include patient assessments, disease management, ordering tests, reviewing lab results, etc. Educational requirements: Completion of an accredited Master’s Degree level program as a Nurse Practitioner. A minimum of three years NP experience in Employee Health or Occupational Health is required. NC nursing license DEA, NPI required. Current BLS certification.

Duties include:

• Prescribes appropriate medical treatment and clinical medications for patients and orders studies, tests, and ancillary care services as required

• Refers to appropriate specialists outside the onsite Health and Wellness Center in a medically appropriate and efficient manner

• Participates with a health service function that appropriately pre-screens applicants for suitability and provides a comprehensive program of health service for employees, including counseling, education, and health care.

• Performs pre-employment physical examinations to determine applicant’s suitability for employment.

• Performs annual physicals and physicals for employees returning to work after an extended illness.

• Orders routine laboratory tests, x-ray studies and other diagnostic services for employees returning to work after an extended illness.

• Assists with development of a wellness component of Employee Health including an employee education program.

• Assists department heads and supervisors in the development of attendance control, safety programs, and other educational programs.

• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to adult patients, including knowledge of growth and development, the ability to obtain and interpret information to identify patient needs and provide the care needed.

FT Hospital-employed practice opportunity, hours 7:30 am – 4 pm, M- F.

Occupational Medicine Physician

Hospital-employed practice opportunity for Board Certified Occupational Medicine (ACOEM) physician. National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners certification required. The physician will serve in a clinic setting as medical director and staff physician in our newly expanded Team Member/Occupational Health facility on the campus of Pardee UNC Health in Hendersonville, NC.

The physician will work with a team of experienced occupational health providers including a PA-C and FNP, Occupational Medicine Technicians, nurses, and Business and Industry professionals. The physician will have an active leadership role in the development and coordination of quality-assurance standards and professional medical protocols

Position requires excellent clinical, leadership, and interpersonal skills as well as experience in professional and clinical staff assessments, understanding of business practice reporting mechanisms. Current knowledge of OSHA regulations, toxic-exposure protocols, worker’s compensation and injury and rehabilitation management, DOT substance abuse testing procedures. Duties include caring for injured workers, managing rehabilitation treatment plans, pre-placement and physical examinations geared toward specific work duties.

Opportunity for BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join three-physician hospital-employed practice with two practice locations in Henderson County. Average 300 births annually, birthing suites with baby in-room with mother, Level II nursery available. Access to Neonatal ICU (NICU) and maternal-fetal medicine specialists via transport to Asheville by helicopter or ground ambulance. Pediatricians follow-up with newborns and perform circumcisions.

Radiation Oncology Physician

Hospital-employed practice opportunity for Radiation Oncology physician to join our team of dedicated cancer specialists including a Board Certified Medical Physicist, a Certified Dosimetrist, four Certified Radiation Therapists, and a Radiation Oncology RN. Our program is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).

Practice environment is a hospital-owned outpatient practice with office located in our new Cancer Center opened in January 2017. Our state of the art facilities include an Elekta Infinity Accelerator with IMRT, VMAT, IGRT, and a Robotic treatment couch. The facility also includes a dedicated 64 slice Philips Big Bore CT simulator. SBRT/SRS program will be added in mid-2018. Services in the Pardee Cancer Center include: radiation oncology, medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, blood transfusion, breast and general surgery, cancer registry, navigation, survivorship, palliative care, and clinical trials program.

Inpatient Psychiatry & Addiction Medicine Specialist

Psychiatrist for a full-time practice opportunity beginning in 2018.

  • Hospital-based 21-bed, short-term, adult psychiatric unit/medical detoxification unit;
  • and 5-bed Psychiatric Transitional Unit (PTU) adjacent to our 24-bed Emergency Department.

Qualifications include:

  • Board Certified (Board Eligible acceptable within 5 years of completion of residency or fellowship) in General/Adult Psychiatry,   a subspecialty of Addiction Medicine preferred.
  • Call 1:4 weekends per month, plus call one night per week.
  • Fellowship training preferred but not required.

Inpatient Mental Health Service PA-C or ANP-C

Experienced Mental Health/Behavioral Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP) for full-time practice opportunity providing patient care with physician supervision in hospital-based 21-bed, short-term, adult psychiatric and medical detoxification unit and in a 5-bed Psychiatric Transitional Unit (PTU) adjacent to our 24-bed Emergency Department. Previous experience in a clinical setting required. New grads who have completed a clinical rotation in a mental/behavioral health setting will also be considered.

• NC Medical (PA) License
• Certified by NCCPA
• ACLS, BLS, PALS and NALS certification – some training provided if needed
