This health center is a subgrantee of Blue Ridge Community Health Services (BRCHS), which is a community health center grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b. As a community health center, we ensure that no individual is denied services due to inability to pay, and services are provided to uninsured or underinsured low-income individuals based on a sliding fee schedule.
This health center subrecipient site receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
