Weather Closings and Delays
At UNC Health Pardee, our first priority is the safety of our patients, staff and visitors. Out of an abundance of caution during inclement weather, Pardee may close or adjust the hours of our medical clinics and departments due to adverse weather.
Due to the geography of Pardee's Western North Carolina locations and the unique impact that inclement weather may have in each community, closing and delay decisions are unique for each region.
While we will make every effort to communicate all known closings and delays on this website and on social media, anyone who has a scheduled appointment at a location not listed below is strongly encouraged to contact the provider's office prior to his/her appointment.
As always, travelers are urged to exercise extreme caution if traveling on icy, snowy, flooded or otherwise dangerous roads. If you have a medical emergency and roads are dangerous, please do not attempt to drive. Call 911.
Remember, Pardee's Emergency Department remains open 24/7.
