Visitor Restrictions

UNC Health Pardee is committed to patient-centered, safe care throughout all of our hospitals and healthcare facilities. Visitors are an important part of the healing process for our patients.

Visitor Restrictions and Limitations

In keeping with current accreditation regulations, there will be no visitor restrictions at Pardee facilities.

Patients and visitors are not required to wear a mask at Pardee facilities unless they have respiratory symptoms, or have suspected or confirmed COVID.

Pardee departments may limit visitation:

  • The presence of a visitor(s) is medically or therapeutically contraindicated
  • The presence of a visitor(s) interferes with the care or rights of other patients
  • The visitor(s) is engaging in disruptive or violent behavior
  • The visitor(s) is non-compliant with hospital policy (e.g. refusing to follow infection prevention measures like wearing a mask/PPE)
  • The department does not have enough space the safely accommodate the number of visitors

Please note the following entrance hours and accessibility:

Main Entrance

Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 8:00pm
Saturday - Sunday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Scheduled appointments for cardiac and vascular patients, wound care, pain management, radiology and labs, use the Main Entrance.

ED Entrance

Open 24/7 for patients needing emergency care.

Day Surgery Entrance

Monday – Friday, 5:30am – 5:00pm

Fleming St. Entrance

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
